Dundee Township Foundation was formed to support the Dundee Township Cares Programs, which were created in 2017 by Dundee Township Supervisor Patricia "Trish" Glees. Dundee Township is a local government body that occupies the 6 square mile area in the Northeast corner of Kane County, Illinois. It includes West and East Dundee, Carpentersville, Sleepy Hollow, Gilberts and portions of Elgin, Barrington Hills, Hoffman Estates, and Algonquin. It is divided by the Fox River.
As of the 2010 census, its population was 64,167 and it contained 21,635 housing unit.
The Dundee Township Cares programs provide assistance to township residents free of charge.
Food Pantry - Open weekly feeding senior residents first and then families. Essential food items are offered such as Milk, Eggs, Bread & Butter along with a variety of non-preshible staples, fresh vegitables, fresh fruits and meats. The food pantry has partnered with local United Methodist Church which provides fresh vegitables from their farm and Jewel grocery store.
UPDATE FOOD PANTRY: Since the onset of COVID-19 the Food Pantry has changed operations. Seniors receive food via fornt porch delivery and families can access the food pantry via drive thru on Thursday from 11am to 1pm.
Professional Clothing Closet - Provides free business attire to residents who are starting jobs or interviews. The closet also hosts a Say YES to the PROM Dress event in February.

Community Clothing Closet - Provide everyday clothing including winter coats for newborns to adults in a variety of sizes.

Other programs offered by Dundee Township Cares are the Christmas Toy Box and Senior Gift Baskets, a medicine take back program, rental assistance with partnership from local realtors and INK Recycling.
